Team Storage

Use organization-wide Team folders for shared material, and recover deleted team items — separate from case storage.

Team storage is your organization's shared workspace — folders and files that belong to the whole company rather than to any single case. It's a good home for templates, internal references, and materials your team reuses across matters. Team storage is reached from the Team menu.

Before you begin

Team storage is available to Account Owner, Account Admin, and Case Manager roles. (Client Users and Share Users don't see the Team area.)

Deleting a team file sends it to the Team recycle bin; deleting a case file sends it to that case's recycle bin. The two are separate.

Team folders

Open Team → Folders to manage the shared file tree. The file list shows Name, Type, Size, and Modified Date, and you can:

  • Add Folder to build structure.
  • Upload — choose Upload Files or Upload Folder (folder structure is preserved). Uploads run in the background just like case uploads — see Uploading Evidence.
  • Download selected items — a single file as-is, or a folder and multiple items as a ZIP.
  • Search to find items, and use the breadcrumb trail to move between folders.
  • Right-click an item for Download, New Folder, Properties, Rename, Move, and Trash.

Team recycle bin

Deleted team items go to Team → Recycle Bin. The list adds a Location column (where the item came from) alongside the usual details. Select items and choose Restore to send them back to their original folder, or open Properties for details.

Forms and forensic tools

The Team area also includes Forms and Forensic Tools sections for shared, organization-level resources.

Forms and Forensic Tools are still being built out — these sections currently show an "under construction" placeholder. Use Team Folders for shared files in the meantime.
